Organized every two years by the SIAE company, a subsidiary of GIFAS, the Paris Air Show is the largest event in the world dedicated to the aerospace industry.

The Paris Air Show offers an incredible view into the industry and is the N°1 event for the international aerospace community.

Paris Air Lab, innovation at the heart of the Show

Paris Air Lab : opened up to the future and invites you to an extraordinary journey to discover tomorrow’s challenges: climate change, artificial intelligence, future of mobility... This event-within-an-event focuses on aerospace research and offers round-table discussions, keynote speeches, immersive experiences and other exciting activities.

From manufacturing 4.0 to space exploration and environment, Paris Air Lab focused throughout the week on major topics for the aerospace industryThe goal: to show that innovation is at the heart of an aerospace industry open to the fields of energy, digital technology or artificial intelligence.

With a presentation area open to industry and start-ups in the sector, each of them has been able, through conferences, interactive workshops and several multimedia displays, to take ownership of the future of our industry. The Paris Air Lab welcomed 54,000 visitors in 2019.

Careers Plane: sparking interest in our sector

In a 3,000 m2 hall, the Careers Plane provides a fresh, informative overview of the sector, where youngsters can get an idea of this type of career, students can seek out an internship or training course, young graduates can find their first job and established professionals can pinpoint new opportunities.

Thanks to this area dedicated to training and jobs, it is possible for each visitor to exchange with companies in the aerospace industry, air transport and National Defense, as well as with schools and training organizations in these fields. Visitors are invited to follow an immersive and educational circuit of discovery to learn about 15 different jobs of aeronautical design, production and maintenance presented by a hundred professionals of the sector.

In 2019, companies and armed forces in the Careers Plane offered 22,000 job opportunities, 5,000 work-study contracts, 8,000 internship offers.
